There is no better moment to feel the benefits of yoga than on holidays. If you are a long-time yogi or a new one, enjoying some yoga classes in Lanzarote during your holidays will keep you strong and feeling amazing. 

What is yoga?

As the amazing yoga guru B.K.S. Iyengar said, ‘Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.’

Originally from India, the word itself means union, joint of body, mind and spirit. It is the perfect practice to reset, restore and renew.

Through the asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation, you will be able to disconnect from your daily life to reconnect with yourself in order to feel better, strong, happy and free. The movement will create strength and awareness of your body, the breathing will help you stay present and the meditation will take you into stillness. A complete practice for total bliss.

How are my yoga classes on Lanzarote?

Adapted to your level and needs, the yoga I offer can be Vinyasa Flow (with Iyengar influence), Hatha or Restorative. Vinyasa means link, so the classes will consist in a fun, creative, balanced flow, linking asanas with breath so we can connect with our bodies and quiet the mind to leave you relaxed yet energized. Vinyasa is quite a strong practice. You will feel your body getting stronger, some challenges and probably some fun. 

If you prefer a more restorative, relaxing practice, we will do a hatha class, where we will stay a bit longer in the poses, feeling, observing, breathing. 

All sessions include pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. I teach from the heart, taking care and making sure you are safe in your poses, nurturing and helping you to feel good, to create your own practice and make the yoga help you where you need. 

I’ll bring all the materials and tailor the classes to your needs. 

Also possible to adapt the yoga sessions to prenatal, postnatal or any request you may have.
