stay

With still 5 more weeks to go, it feels like the pregnancy is a long journey, but I have to admit that after week 20 everything and time has gone so fast that I am amazed I still have only one more month and a half to go (if he doesn’t come earlier…;)

I am looking forward to seeing his face and get into this new adventure of my life. I still feel good and keep practicing and teaching yoga and pilates. With Pilates, I don’t do the class with the student anymore, with yoga I can still join in the less vigorous classes or more hatha oriented yoga clients.

My practice during the 3rd trimestre has been more oriented to nourish and feel good, with lots of hip openers, forward folds, heart openers that don’t require big backbends, open twists and pranayama. It’s time to get ready and I don’t want to force anything in my body, so I am really listening to it.

In between classes and other life things, I am doing an online course to get deeper into teaching yoga generally and specifically to pregnant women. For me, now is the perfect moment to do so, because everything is fresh and I can feel it in my body. I will make another post with some tips for pregnant yogis to share with you what I think can be good to know if you are pregnant and want to do yoga or if you have a yoga practice and are a bit lost with what can you do, what is better to avoid, etc. Coming soon…

———-

    Marta.

So happy for you! It was almost a year ago we met at the Godess Garden and I knew your were a special soul, reflective, generous, beautiful smile. I am so glad your journey has now brought you a baby. Your will be a wonderful mother.

We just had a serious snowstorm here, so I will be digging out today. Much different than Costa Rica! I have a regular yoga practice and use some of the poses and principles in workshops I do. I admire anyone who can teach regularly !

Best wishes for the delivery. I look forward to seeing a picture. Blessings,
    Peggy

Thanks Peggy! It was very very nice to meet you one year ago and share some yoga with you as well. I am sure your workshops are great, would love to attend one! Any plans of traveling to Europe soon? Sending you a big hug and lots of love!
